DECLUTTERING
Deciding What Stays.
Decluttering is simply the process of deciding what belongs in your home and what is ready to be released. It is a deliberate, paced practice that allows room for reflection while moving steadily toward clarity.
Often, this work begins with a simple realization: the things in your space no longer reflect the life you are living right now.
The Real Work
Decluttering is rarely about objects alone. It often involves navigating memory, identity, and life transitions.
I help you manage the hurdles that usually stall progress:
- Decision fatigue and the weight of choice.
- Emotional attachment to the past.
- Shifting priorities as your life changes.
- The practical logistics of downsizing.
How I Support You
I provide a neutral, structured environment so you can make choices with less pressure.
I am here to offer:
- Calm containment throughout the process.
- Steady pacing to prevent overwhelm.
- Objective guidance through difficult decisions.
- Practical structure to keep things moving.
Handling Your Belongings
We review items together, sorting them into clear categories to keep the process manageable.
Every decision belongs entirely to you. Nothing leaves your home without your explicit approval, and we move at a pace that respects your comfort.
The goal is clarity and confidence in every decision.
- Keep — What stays.
- Maybe — What needs more time or reflection.
- Donate — What is ready to be passed on.
- Recycle — What can be repurposed or processed.
- Dispose — What is no longer useful.
How Sessions Work
- Side-by-Side Collaboration: We work together at a pace that feels right for you. My role is to provide the steady structure and support needed to help you decide what truly belongs in your home.
- A Non-Judgmental Process: This is not about forcing a minimalist aesthetic or stripping away meaningful belongings. We focus on creating the physical and mental space needed for you to feel at ease.
- Practical & Realistic: We work with what you already own. There is no pressure to buy new storage products or follow a Pinterest version of organization; we aim for what is actually manageable for your life.
- Quiet Progress: Every session is approached with discretion and respect. We move steadily toward clarity, ensuring your space feels lighter and more functional by the end of our time together.
Investment
- $99 per hour | Sessions are scheduled with a three-hour minimum to ensure meaningful progress, typically ranging from three to six hours per session.
- A Resourceful Approach | The focus is on essentialism—using the storage and pieces what you already own rather than acquiring more.
